The Governors' Liaisons Network is comprised of gubernatorial appointees from each state and territory. The U.S. Census Bureau maintains a partnership with the governor of each state and territory through this network.
The primary focus of this partnership is to provide a direct communications channel between a governor and the Census Bureau Director and the agency’s senior executive leadership. This partnership supports the accuracy of enumeration in the Decennial Census along with other censuses and surveys. Â
