Lynda Lee, Tonja White and Lucie Alleyne, statisticians in the Economic Directorate at Census, will present an overview of economic data focusing on which data offer the timeliest insight and which provide greater depth and detail. The session will cover 5-year, annual, quarterly, monthly and high-frequency publications including the Economic Census, Annual Integrated Economic Survey (AIES), County Business Patterns (CBP), the Quarterly Financial Report (QFR), Business and Trends Outlook Survey (BTOS), and more, highlighting the inverse relationship between frequency and level of detail and key uses of the data.
