This set of 130 statistical tables shows the numbers and percent distributions from Census 2000 for the American Indian and Alaska Native Alone and Alone or in Combination Population by Tribe.

Tables 1 to 65 show numbers for the United States, regions, divisions and states.

Tables 66 to 130 show percents for the United States, regions, divisions and states.

User Note

In the column entitled, "American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes," "Monacan" was incorrectly spelled as "Monocan." In addition, the ‘‘Mono’’ tribal grouping that includes separate data lines for "Mono," "North Fork Rancheria," "Cold Springs Rancheria," and "Big Sandy Rancheria," was incorrectly indented under the "Monacan" tribal grouping. These groups should have been listed separately under the "Mono" tribal grouping. As a result of this error, the data shown for the "Monacan" tribal grouping are incorrect, and there are no data shown for the "Mono" tribal grouping. Data for each of the individual tribes, i.e., "Monacan Indian Nation," "Mono," "North Fork Rancheria," "Cold Springs Rancheria," and "Big Sandy Rancheria," are correct as shown. The correct listing is shown below.
