"Census of the Virgin Islands of the United States, November 1, 1917"

The special census of the Virgin Islands of the United States, taken by the Bureau of the Census as of November 1, 1917, was the first census of population under the auspices of the United States Government. For this census a general population schedule was prepared. This schedule differed but slightly from that used for the United States proper at the Thirteenth Census, 1910.
